Wahluke Wine Company provides unparalleled grape-to-bottle wine making capabilities in Eastern Washington. The integration of custom winery services offers one-stop-shopping for wineries including crush-to-bottle, tank and barrel storage and case goods warehousing. Their Mattawa facilities produce nearly half-a-million cases of wine annually for a number of clients including Ryan Patrick Vineyards and Milbrandt Vineyards.
Owned and operated by the Milbrandt family, it's part of the Milbrandt's long agricultural history in Eastern Washington. They planted their first vineyard in 1997 in the area now designated as the Wahluke Slope AVA. In 1988, they planted the Evergreen Vineyard and more recently the Ancient Lane Vineyard both of which are located seven miles northwest of George. Today, they farm 12 distinct vineyard sites totaling nearly 2,300 acres and produce their own Milbrandt Vineyards label.
We are taking a natural product in its prime, and helping the product show itself to its maximum potential through the art of winemaking. We have a strong passion in allowing the grapes to speak for themselves through the wine, helping consumers identify the region they were grown and the different characteristics each site’s terroir promotes. In our pursuit for excellence, we take many educated risks to help reach an optimum flavor profile for each block of grapes we process, narrowing down winemaking techniques that are uniquely desirable. Hence, culminating a structurally balanced, terroir expressive wine which all wine enthusiasts are sure to never forget.
